Quick Patch Questions

Can patches be cut?

Yes, you can cut the patch to any size with scissors or a sharp knife.  Any unused portions should be put back into its UV protective foil packaging.

At present we are having cloudy days, how much UV light is required to set these patches?

In good sunlight, the patch starts to harden in 5 mins and will be ready for painting, sanding or drilling in 10 minutes. On cloudy days it could take up to 50 minutes. The other option is to use a UV torch which once again depending on its intensity should take between 10 – 30 minutes.

How exactly do I apply the patch? What is the best method?

Firstly, the surface should be clean, dry and free of any contaminants.

If necessary, cut the Quick Patch to any size you want without exposing to UV or sunlight.

Place the unused portion back into the protective foil bag.

Remove the white backing tape to expose the sticky resin. Apply Quick Patch to repair area firmly pressing down.

Once firmly in place remove the transparent film that sits on top of the patch.

Expose to UV or sunlight. The patch will harden and within the next hour will be ready for painting, sanding or drilling.

Does the unused Quick Patch have a shelf life?

The manufacturer states that as a minimum the Quick Patch will be good on the shelf for 18 months. With the right storage, it should last longer than this.

What is the best way to store unused Quick Patch?

Prior to use store in cool, dry conditions (not more than 25°C). Avoid storage near any heat source or sunlight.

Super Quick Concrete Dissolver Questions

What is the best way to apply your Concrete Dissolver?

You can either brush or spray it on. It’s important the concrete is dry for Super Quick Concrete Dissolver to work effectively. Then just wait 15 minutes and rinse with water. The water will neutralise the dissolver.

What if there is still concrete build-up left behind?

For thicker surfaces (more than 6mm) it may require a second application. The newly exposed cement will be ready for Super Quick Concrete Dissolver to get stuck in to remove the last layers. Again, we recommend the concrete is dry before application.

I have concrete splatter on my vehicle, is Super Quick Concrete Dissolver safe to use?

Yes, Super Quick Concrete Dissolver only works on cement / lime-based materials. It is non-corrosive and safe to use on metal and painted surfaces.
